That opening shot of ScarJo's ass needs BD treatment. And wallpaper for my home.

Lost in Translation's on BD? Is it region-free? I loved that movie... :)

But anyway, if my windfall and contingency plan goes ahead as planned the end of the week will look like this (and it'll help the site along too!)...

      Beauty on Duty
      The Child's Eye
      La Comedie Humaine
      The Conmen in Vegas (remaster)
      Fire of Conscience
      Gallants
      Iron Angels
The Jade and the Pearl (BD)
      Knockabout
      The Magnificent Butcher
      Murderer
My Heart is that Eternal Rose
      On His Majesty's Secret Service
      Overheard (BD)
      Project A (2-disc SE)
      Project A Part II
Red Cliff Part I & II (BD)
Shaun the Sheep: Gift Set (Boxset Vol. 2)
      The Stool Pigeon (BD)
      Womb Ghosts (BD)

edit: Haha, I did edit in the end. Dropped Chocolate & House of Fury, as have both on DVD already...so they can wait for another day.
More Shaun the Sheep, 24 new episodes in fact, for the boy (and me), though!

Surprisingly, I did too! I bought it on DVD over a year ago, and kind of expected it be to somewhere in the middle-of-the-road like try-hard Thai action films The Tiger Blade, Dangerous Flowers and The Bullet Wives (which was fun, all the same). But I was happily proven wrong and I thought it was about time to upgrade Jeeja to Blu!

Let us know how Linda Linda Linda is -- I've read nothing but good things about for, like, forever!

I just bought Black Devil Doll today. I hope it's as good as the poster.

This is one of the most replayed films in this house!

We upgraded the PC today to a brand new one! :p

Intel i3 Deluxe (3.2GHz), with Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
                    - Samsung BD/DVD drive (DVD writer)
                    - 1TB HDD
                    - nVidia high-speed graphiscs card
                    - Adobe Photoshop & Elements Premium 9
                    - Adobe Lightroom 3
                    - PowerDVD 10

And the DVD/BD titles above are all goers! But we'll be sitting on the rest of our little windfall, me thinks -- just sorted out the PC problem and cleared some bills.

I almost picked up Machete the other day, but then I saw it didn't have squat for extras. ANyone know if they plan on putting out a special edition or something later on like with Sin City?

Nothing announced yet, but RR's stuff does tend to get re-released a lot so it wouldn't surprise me. I was disappointed there was no commentary track.

yeah the commentaries he does are great. I passed it by mainly because of that. I dont really care much about the audience reaction track, unless it an audience full of prudish old ladies. THat might be interesting. You get it for review?

I did and I checked it out and there aren't any prudish old ladies on it. It's amusing for about five minutes.

yeah I didn't like the Grindhouse audience track. I'm going to wait on this one. I can watch on my spanking new PS3 on that Vudu streaming thing. Got a free rental. Looking forward to reading your review of it.
