...I use the term "upgrade" loosely as these are the typical K&R jobs & no one is going to confuse these as reference quality.

Sorry Paul somehow I missed your response here. I LOVE Dagon. I always thought it was overlooked as a Lovecraft adaptation. I didn't realize that the movie was cut. I guess I just assumed that since the R-rated version features a man getting his face peeled off that it was the only version. I'll have to look into this because I didn't even know there was a Blu of Dagon out there.

Yes, the 'R' rated version is definitely pretty grisly anyway.

I've found a list of the cuts to the German BD, which amount to 21 seconds: http://www.schnittberichte.com/schni....php?ID=625511 Hopefully another company will release this on Blu-ray in an uncut form.

Like Paul said, Diabolik carries it, but they are currently out of stock - I think I got the last one on Friday.

By the way, this was my first time seeing the film and it quickly jumps into my top 5 or so Franco films. Loved it.

It's one of my fav Franco's and would gladly upgrade this on blu-ray, Helmut Berger is so sleazy in this one.
