    *NEW TITLE ANNOUNCE**
    Get ready to experience the third dimension retro-style. 1983's METALSTORM: THE DESTRUCTION OF JARED-SYN will be coming to Blu-ray for the first on September 13th. And, yes, it will be in presented in 3-D as it was originally back during its theatrical release!
    A miner and his daughter Dhyana (Kelly Preston) fall prey to the evil dictator Jared-Syn's reign of terror. Dogen (Jeffrey Byron) the brave peacekeeping ranger, must save Dhyana and the rest of her planet from the of Jared-Syn (Mike Preston), his son, Baal (R. David Smith), and the hideous Cyclopean warlord, Hurok (Richard Moll). If Dogen does not find Dhyana in time, she will be sacrificed to Jared-Syn's strange life-giving crystal.
    Directed by Empire Pictures founder Charles Band (Parasite, Trancers) and also features his Trancers star Tim Thomerson (Near Dark, Fade to Black).

    Great film! The only 3D title I like, though I have never seen it in 3D.

    Or ok, it isn't all that great. But it has one of the funniest titles ever. And is like a poor mans Spacehunter.

      Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn is the science-fiction battle of the ages with giant Cyclopians and an intergalactic magician in this futuristic adventure set on the desert planet of Lemuria. A miner and his daughter Dhyana (Kelly Preston, Death Sentence, Christine) fall prey to the evil dictator Jared-Syn's reign of terror. Dogen (Jeffrey Byron, The Dungeonmaster), the brave peacekeeping ranger, must save Dhyana and the rest of her planet from the brutality of Jared-Syn (Mike Preston, The Road Warrior), his son, Baal (R. David Smith, T-Force), and the hideous Cyclopean warlord, Hurok (Richard Moll, Razor). If Dogen does not find Dhyana in time, she will be sacrificed to Jared-Syn's strange life-giving crystal.


      This Sci-Fi action film was directed by Empire Pictures founder Charles Band (Puppetmaster, Trancers) and also features his Trancers star Tim Thomerson (Near Dark, Fade to Black).
