It won an Oscar. For best movie ever made.*

*actually it didn't. But Will Ferrell says so, in Talladega Nights.

I make no apologies for liking Highlander, even if I had a Hiatus from the film for a number of years due to overplay

I picked up the UK release of the 30th anniversary edition, and although I was pleased with the results, I can honestly say that there has been some quite harsh critique regarding this release. Firstly, its not as defined as the 4k tag would have you assume. Secondly as this is approved by the director, there is also a change to the colour timing from the previous releases, which hasn't gone down that well. Its not drastic but its there all the same.

I liked how the film looked on this release, but it merits being mentioned before you buy

It may also be worth mentioning in this thread that Highlander 2 and 3 have had new HD masters produced, and released in Japan on Blu-ray. H3 looks significantly improved, not sure about H2. The sequels aren't great by any means but each one offers some entertainment value (with the exception of Highlander:the source which is beyond awful)

                I'll skip then.

And I agree. I will make no appologies for liking Highlander either, and me to has had it in hiatus since the previous blu, which I saw once, cause I saw this way to many times back in the day.

I make no apologies either. 'Highlander' is one of my favourite 80's movies.
