I saw a bunch of props from this on display at the WETA booth at NYCC in the fall, and now? Well, now we have a TV spot.

    In theaters June 10th.

I guess I don't care that this looks like a video game because it was based on a video game but holy CGI, Batman!

    "In Theaters, June 10, 2016
    www.warcraftmovie.com

From Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures comes Warcraft, an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment's global phenomenon.

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Jones, the film starring Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production.

The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O'Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce. Warcraft will be released by Universal Pictures. www.warcraftmovie.com"

I saw this trailer at the cinema and laughed. My first time at the cinema in years (to watch Star Wars). But it was not the worst trailer on show. That was reserved for some film about terrorists blowing up stuff in London but I don't recall the title.

Isn't it entirely animated just with almost photorealistic humans? That's what it looks like to me though I'm viewing the trailer on my phone so hard to see for sure. Geez what is little Bowie doing working on this. Source Code sucked but I still thought he was angling to be a player.

There needs to be a law passed that prevents video games from being made into movies. Why see a movie when I can pop it in and play it? I'm looking forward to a Sim City film adaptation though.

I read Daniel Wu is in this...as is the great Clancy Brown..

Not sure what they are trying to do with this movie..but I dont think I will watch it in the theater as I guess it will induce a huge migraine....

I enjoyed MOON ...and Source Code was intersting....not sure why he took this job...either the pay was good ir this trailer is not representing the movie he has made...

This ,however, I most definitely WOULD have seen in the theater.....

Uwe Boll made a bid to direct, but was turned away by Blizzard, who he claims to have said, "We will not sell the movie rights, not to you… especially not to you. Because it's such a big online game success, maybe a bad movie would destroy that ongoing income, what the company has with it."[
