I used to order off of amazon UK all of the time because they were cheaper once they knocked the VAT off, and the shipping wasn't bad. Now, the shipping off of anything from amazon uk is almost 20 pounds. No longer worth it.

The Final Cut edit is dogshit. It took all of the good redux stuff out, and left all of the shitty redux stuff in.

I really wish Coppola just left it alone after he made it. Having said that, I'm not against the idea of directors going to back to old projects and tweaking them. For example, I love the Final Cut of BLADE RUNNER. Also, the director's cut of BLOOD SIMPLE is an improvement on the theatrical.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

It's just a shame that the two scenes still missing from the Final Cut of Blade Runner were found to have definitely been destroyed in that Columbia Studios vault fire.

                        Didn't know this. Goddamn it!

I've still not seen the 'redux' cut of APOCALYPSE NOW, though I've seen the original theatrical cut at the cinema several times.

The only scene believed lost in the Columbia fire that wasn't is the unicorn dream sequence. The visit to the hospital be Deckard to talk to the Blade Runner who Leon shot and another scene involving Deckard and Rachel that I can't remember the description of only exist in stills from the set.
