I think Terminator 1 is superior as well. But Terminator 2 certainly isn't bad. There's some dated things about it but it is a very well made and excellent action movie.

I probably made it sound like I hate the film, but I don't. It's alright enough. But looking at what it represents and where filmmaking went gets me all worked up. And I can't help but feel it led to this ..... http://chicago.suntimes.com/entertai...rrifying-mess/"When I die, I hope to go to Accra"

I didn't think you or Randy truly hated it but I understand what you guys mean.
I see what you mean by T2 creating the big over-budget action CGI flick but I still think it holds up. Hell, we could go even farther back and blame the creation of the soul-less tentpole blockbuster on Jaws and Star Wars.Last edited by Alex K.; 07-11-2016, 07:36 PM."Ah! Just gonna copy and paste my post from FB, so y'all can see it if we aren't pals on there:
Just got home from GHOSTBUSTERS! Pretty thrilled to see that my publications, Cinema Sewer and Sleazy Slice both make an appearance in the movie! You can see the names briefly in the Times Square finale, on the marquee of a porn theater! Thanks so much to Shary Contrary, who worked on the movie! That was such a cool thing for you to do. It's a good thing my wife Rebecca saw it as well when we saw the movie, because I'd start wondering if I imagined it at this point! haha It was funny. We both pointed at that same corner of the screen at the same exact time and went "HOLY SHIT"
Also excited to see the old Victory porn theater make an appearance, which many of you will know from the article I did about it in Cinema Sewer book 5. And the Eros 1 was there for a second, too! Also appearing, the Pussycat theater. Cinema Sewer and Sleazy Slice appear on the marquee for what is a digital reproduction of the old Big Apple theater, which ued to be the Globe before it began showing XXX: https://twentyfourframes.files.wordp...letheatre1.jpg
I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Enjoyable! Not earth-shatteringly good or anything, but totally worth seeing. It's basically the same plot as the first one, so it's not covering any new ground or anything, but I'm quite glad to have seen it. Fun movie!

Everyone ignore Robins review...its obvious he has product placement in the movie so of course he is biased....SELLOUT!!!
Seriously though, glad that Robin said the movie is FUN ..That is about the only thing I hope this movie is..
As long as it is entertaining I will ignore all the crap that this movie is being accused of.....entertainment is what I want..thats all..

Got roped into seeing this. Luckily I didn't pay.
All I'm going to say, to keep it brief, is that it isn't funny or interesting. Excluding that one scene where that guy flips them off. That was about it. I laughed at that one part. Main cast has no chemistry and is very unlikable. It's sloppy, unfocused, rushed, has obnoxious product placements, and it really makes you appreciate Ghostbusters 2. Ghostbusters 2 looks like a masterpiece compared to this movie and I'm not exaggerating at all."Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"
