I think Fleshpot on 42nd Street is going to be on that AFGA release as well.

Not yet, but I've got that book buried somewhere. I'll dig it out at some point. I'm very keen to read the Roger Watkins chapter now! I recall that Landis got some of the chronology of Milligan's films wrong.

Roger wanted to sue Bill but he didn't have the money for it. As far as I'm concerned Bill is a piece of shit.

What also bugs me about that book is that a lot of the time it's basically just plot synopses. I could have done without knowing how The Candy Snatchers ended before seeing it. I'd heard that this guy was supposed to be the greatest writer about exploitation/horror/porno/sleaze, not just a churner out of plotlines, complete with spoilers.

He was also supposed to be co-writing The Ghastly One. I wonder what happened there.

Not enough fact-checking in that book. His reviews of The PSYCHOPATH (aka EYE FOR AN EYE) and HOLLYWOOD HILLSIDE STRANGLER are amusing.

Stephen Thrower posted on FB earlier he recently spent 4 days in NYC assisting on an upcoming Milligan box set from Severin. Exactly what films will be included remains a mystery, but yeah, Milligan box set!

Saw that too. Woo-hoo! Also, Jimmy McDonough mentioned in that thread that a reprint of "The Ghastly One" is on its way too.

Those are both terrific bits of news. After Nightbirds and Seeds I'm hungry for all the top quality Milligan Blu-rays I can get my mitts on. Glad Severin is getting Thrower involved, the man knows his shit and he's a great Milligan evangelist. It was his intro to The Ghastly Ones on the Video Nasties DVD set that helped me tune into Andy's cracked wavelength.

Would be great if they could get McDonough or Thrower to do some commentary tracks for the movies.

                        Reading this gives me pause.
Love Andy but not too keen on Severin these days, they are hit and miss.

                        Fingers crossed.
Their last 2 Franco Blus were fine, let's hope they don't screw this one up.

Wonder if they will have any of the Code Red released titles?

I've knwn about this for a while and this box set will, in my estimation, be the greatest set ever, as Milligan is my favourite filmmaker. Details of films and extras are still under wraps.

Even without any of the Code Red titles ( 2 of which are golden ) the box should be very interesting.

Milligan is way overdue for some appreciation. Looking forward to the deetz.

I have all but one of the Code Red Milligan titles so personally I'm hoping for different films in the set.
