I was watching the movie that happens to have Keli's comeback scene in it, and I thought her name sounded familiar. This led me to the podcast, and I listened to it. I've never listened to the Rialto Report before, but this one was certainly eye-opening. Keli was so fiercely honest and open, it really gave me a new appreciation for her.
I'm fairly conflicted, now. On the one hand, Keli still looks great, and her performance in the scene is great, too (although the male talent could have been more involved, I guess--it certainly didn't surprise me that she said he does transsexual scenes given his lack of intimacy with her). I will also sheepishly admit that I would love to see her get more (and better) work in porn, provided, of course, that she's happy and treated properly.
On the other hand, the end of that episode is fairly depressing. I honestly found myself wishing I ran a porn company so I could shoot a movie with Keli and make sure she was treated well. I'm not sure if I could/should support her by buying the new DVD, or if that money would just be going 100% into the pocket of the production company and I shouldn't bother. It seems I've missed the fundraiser, too. It's always kind of a struggle for me to know if I'm "supporting" girls by buying and watching modern porn, or if I'm just contributing to their exploitation by a bunch of cold, shameless assholes.Comment

Adult performers do not receive residuals so all money goes back to the production company. Given Richards' age her roles will be very limited and pretty much limited to MILF or Granny videos.
