I'll believe it when I see it. Call me a cynic, but this title has been "promised" too many times by too many labels.

*But don't they understand Massacre is the most important title they have ever, or will ever, handle?
Seriously, though, Massacre has been "coming soon" for so long from so many different companies over the years, I can't bring myself to believe it'll ever truly come. But I sure hope so. I even sprang to import the German big box release because it had the least shitty print available long after it was OOP. But a special edition blu-ray would be one sweet double dip.

I asked Nico about Massacre yesterday, here's what he said:
"Ian, the HD Transfer is ready of MASSACRE, maybe soon, working on so many titles right now."

Hysteria is coming in September, so hopefully Central High is right behind that.

First time I saw Massacre was on late night TNT about a month after Columbine happened. A few years later tracked down a rip of the VHS. And have been waiting on a DVD/Blu Ray release since then.

I've never seen a good print of MASSACRE, so I welcome the news. It has been often announced, so I'm still skeptical about seeing it on DVD.

Massacre has been begging for a decent, non-boot release for some time now. Glad to finally see it happen!

Oh MAN did I love that movie as a kid. Massacre that is. They used to run it on the Movie Channel in the early 80s. At the time, it was badass. I'd love to see how it holds up now. Haven't seen it in forever.Last edited by Todd Jordan; 01-22-2013, 08:34 PM.

Very cool about MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH, it's about freaking time! I can imagine this one being somewhat controversial in today's climate. Really good film though and a longtime favorite of mine. Always liked Derrel Maury too, a good low key actor.

Cult Epics Releasing Hysteria & Massacre At Central High On Blu-ray
Cinema Head Cheese just posted a press release noting that Pig/1334 are coming to Blu-ray (we should have a review up soon, there's already one at Mondo Digital) but if you look towards the bottom of this you'll see the following:
"COMING SOON on BD/DVD: HYSTERIA & MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH (Rene Daalder)
In Theatres ZERO KILLED the controversial documentary film by Michal Kosakowski"
No art or specs yet for Massacre but here's the cover art for Hysteria. Nice to see more Rene Daalder stuff coming out, and in HD no less.
