  • Pre-ordered Corruption mostly to get LHODES, and just now it's kind of starting to dawn on me... Is Corruption one of those porno movies I never watch myself (promise, mom!) but heard my friends talk about?

      • Any orders that contained Corruption won't have shipped yet (which I imagine would be most orders made by people posting on this forum). They don't expect stock of that to be ready until mid-December.

        • What ever became of Let My Puppets Come? Has that been cancelled? Was it gonna be a Blu or straight up Dvd?

I didn't order Corruption. My order shipped Wednesday and should be here tomorrow. Thinking about CORRUPTION as one of my free Indegio titles.

            • Great to see many more XXX BDs on tap for VS for 2016.

One thing I wonder, especially since the LEs must have sold well to be being reissued, is if anyone from the industry that holds other classic titles has spoken to VS about Blu-ray. I do wonder if any of them notice VS selling out a couple thousand copies of Sex World and 1500 of Pretty Peaches, and wonder if they should do anything with their classic film materials to put out Blu-rays.

I know I would love to get the first few Taboo films on BD, along with titles like Deep Throat and Behind the Green Door, which I believe is a Vivid title.

              • Sean, we've got a number of high profile X rated blus planned for next year. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the selections...

Great! I just hope that, as time goes by, you guys (or at least somebody, if it has to be someone else) can put out all the great XXX films of the 70s and beyond on Blu-ray. It seems a shame to think that some companies are just sitting on 35mm materials that could look as good as your remastered titles, if only they saw the value in paying for the new scan.

                  • Sean I agree with you, the Taboo films would be great on Blu ray, the first few at least. I am anxious to see what high profile films VS has planned for next year :) I would most like to see Behind the Green Door, and Deep Throat, as those were the 2 groundbreaking adult films. But there are just so many great adult films. China Girl with Annette Haven, I mean literally there are so many, that I'm sure whatever VS restores will be great releases, after the Black Friday sale, I have every single adult film release put out by VS, and I plan to try and pick up more of the horror releases I don't have yet, I have some of those, but not all, and I've been really pleased with those too. Madman haha, that movie cracks me up, with the bad acting from the old guy who runs the camp, he's so bad at acting that it amuses me to no end.

                    • I'm very excited about the January releases from VS, they are really kicking it into high gear to start the year off. I'm anxious to see all of the January releases except Luther The Geek, I just can't get into Troma films, other than about 2 of their earlier films, but the adult January release look fantastic. You know what I was just thinking would be a great release on DVD or Blu ray, Beyond De Sade and Never A Tender Moment, the 2 films with Marilyn Chambers. Have those ever been released on home video? I have only heard of them and never seen them, I am sure they were released at some point, but they are probably just long out of print, but anything with Marilyn Chambers is worthy of a dvd release!

                      • Yeah, the January releases are pretty damn impressive. Both Star Virgin and Too Naughty to Say No get audio commentaries, and the Peekarama double gets a Carter Stevens interview. Extras like commentaries for the older XXX titles are really valuable, and I'm glad VS spend the money and effort putting them together.

LUTHER isn't a 'Troma Film' in the sense that it was produced independently and sold to Troma. It's a bleak and pretty violent slasher with an admittedly absurd premise, but one that never devolves into humor. And the performances are really strong, for the most part.

                          • Was gonna post something to that effect about LUTHER. It's worth a look if you like that type of film.

Nice to see a Suze Randall flick on tap, any chance that her Suze's Centerfolds series of shorts might get a digital clean up?

I might give Luther the Geek a shot now that I know it's not going to be filled with fart and poop jokes now haha
