    • FYI, The Denver / Aurora store is open! They announced it on instagram (and only there, from what I can tell), but ... I dislike fuckerberg more than almost any human alive, so I didn't see it. Worth a visit, and really looking forward to being able to pick up orders rather than waiting for them to work through the backlog...

          • Freeway is a nice surprise.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

            • Rewatched Freeway on Tubi in the last year. Forgot how sleazy in subject matter it is.

I am having a hard time imagining it being any more sleazy than the unrated version already was, to be honest. I gotta see the longer cut!

That all sounds pretty fucking amazing.

It would be great to see the floodgates open on Category III across several different labels.

On the gialli front, hopefully they go with an all-Spanish box or two. With all the great Italian titles on the market, it seems like Spain has the most fertile virgin terrain remaining. If not a Spanish gialli box, the world would be a better place with some kind of deluxe Marisa Mell collection.

Also, more stand alone Naschy is always a good thing. Frankenstein's Bloody Horror, Dr. Jekyll Versus The Werewolf, Hunchback Of The Morgue, Horror Rises From The Tomb and/or The Hanging Woman would all be great. More Santo releases would be phenomenal as well.

The only thing better than that would be a run of Armando Bo /Isabel Sarli potboilers.

                      • I'm curious what Peek-a-Rama titles they have in the works for the new year, as some titles I was told they had a while ago haven't seen the light of day yet.

The ONLY Cat III films that have HD releases in the UK are:

                              Pre-2000

                              Erotic Ghost Story
                              Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky
Crime Story (First Cat III film Jackie Chan has made)
                              Ebola Syndrome
                              Robotrix

                              2000-Present

                              SPL (aka Kill Zone)
                              Mad Detective

                              Fatal Move
                              Vulgaria

                              Dream Home
Shinjuku Incident (The 2nd Cat III film Jackie Chan has made)

For some reason DiaboliK DVD claims The Oily Maniac (released by 88 Films in UK) is a Cat III film but I can't find any evidence to say that it is.

We definitely need more on BD in the UK. Even Ang Lee's 2007 film Lust Caution has ONLY had a DVD release in the UK.
