never ever heard about surf II and the string pants samurai before, but the two box sets sound interesting even though I have to admit cardona jr.'s cyclone put me to sleep when I watched a few years ago.

WINTERBEAST occupies a special place in my heart. I've got the filmmakers' independent release from over a dozen years ago, and it has a lot of special features, but this appears to have some extra ones as well. I'll just say to anyone out there thinking about picking the set up that if you get it, you will never forget this particular flick.VHS will never die!

Winterbeast is an odd one. I've not seen it in a while, had to check, I still have the old DVD release, picked that up 15 or so years ago.
Winterbeast is one of those movies I clump together with Frostbiter: Wrath of the Wendigo and The Dark Power, due to the stop motion, lots of Winter, also. I think Dark Power took place during Winter. Come to think of it, Dark Power didn't have much stop motion... hahaha, either way, i group those 3 together in my mind, for some reason.
