Both of these are the only uncut, negative sourced releases of these films that are available and will ever be available. Same goes for the two we picked up elements for yesterday.

Cinema Arcana have announced in a facebook post that VS is releasing their 4K restoration of Andy Milligan's SEEDS on Blu-Ray next month! It'll be limited to 2,000 copies and will include the re-worked SEEDS OF SIN cut as well as Milligan's debut short VAPORS scanned in 4K from the 35mm dupe neg.
There's tons of extra info in that post including the story of how the original was pieced back together. I cannot fucking wait for this. Most exciting release of the year?

They're not sex flicks. According to Joe in that interview, one is an early '80s slasher-type that's never been on DVD and the other one is an early-to-mid '90s slasher-type that's only ever been released on DVD from a non-film source.
It's exciting to have a package coming with two surprise titles (plus the amazing LIQUID SKY in a restored version). I hope nobody blows the surprise before I get it, though. Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

That's GREAT news regarding the original cuts of Milligan's SEEDS. I own the Something Weird dvd with the work print, etc. I will have to scrape up the $$$$ for this. Among my favorite Milligan films along with The Man With Two Heads, Night Birds, and Vapors. Thanks for the post Iganatius. Much appreciated.
