  • I've seen a few of them, they're interesting but not really remarkable. Better than most of his other films.

    • I guess I wasn't that clear on my reply but what I meant was that David Stitt is Lloyd Kaufman. It appeared that fatboyslim142 didn't know that and thought he only produced those films. (And David Wynn is an Herz alias).

Kaufman must have changed his viewpoint in recent years. In years past he would deny that he had anything to do with adult films.

One reason that Kaufman would not be very forthcoming about it is that his wife (Patricia Kaufman) was, and my still be, the film commissioner in New York. You can just imagine the moralists going nuts about her husband producing pornography.

      • Lloyd did confirm once or twice (coyingly in typical Lloyd fashion) that he did direct porn in the 70's.

        • I didn't know that was one of his aliases either Thomas.
          Thank you for clarifying.

                • I've never heard of Hobgoblins, but that art work kind of sells the film haha. I am going to be buying the whole month of October package I have a feeling what with the Linnea Quigley films and this I have a feeling. Oh I was wanting to mention also, I was digging through my DVD's last night and watched a film I hadn't seen in a while and it'd make a great release by VS A Coming of Angels, starring Jamie Gillis, not sure if VS has a film print of it to do a Blu ray or DVD release though, but damn that's a good movie, has John Leslie in it too and Abigail Clayton. Really a nice movie that needs a good release.

                  • Hobgoblins is a hard one to sit through without the MSTK3 crew along. That cover looks to have more care and skill put into it than the film itself. I will be scooping it up for sure.

                    • I guess now that VS is releasing HOBGOBLINS they have now officially "jumped the shark".

I suppose this means the VICE ACADEMY films are coming soon. (Oh, the horrors! the horrors!)

                      • I was pretty excited about VS's October titles when it was all rumors and hearsay.

                          No Vice Academy is planned.
And Hobgoblins was part of a larger package...

October turned out pretty weird...we had a couple of other titles in the works, which we've had to push back on account of extras (one being a 1980 horror film where literally none of the handful of surviving participants responded to our requests for interviews), so it ended up being 5 films from 1987-1989. The one yet unannounced Blu, which might clue some people in on a number of really exciting (to me, at least) upcoming Blus, plus the yet unannounced DVD box set will probably be to more people on here's liking as it's much more 'outsider art' type stuff.

November, with a planned 80s hardcore blu, 70s action/horror (?) blu, lost film hardcore DVD set, peekarama double, plus at least one black friday blu (in the form of an 80s slasher) should get everyone back on track.

                            • lost film hardcore dvd set is another night at the po no volume 2? I hope so because that's my favorite release by VS so far I think. I know they are basically unknown films, but that's kind of the fun of it, seeing films now well known, and it's like seeing films not seen in 40 years, they were basically shown in theaters and then thrown in someones basement it seems and never touched again for 40 years, and if VS didn't release them they would just rot away and be lost eventually, November is going to be great sounds like. VS gets better and better, Hope Taboo 2 is one fo those titles for November. Dorothy Lemay would bring Christmas joy to me, 12 sluts a chirping 5 golden rings!!!
