I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Ian, you fuggin' rule!

    • It looks like with the July releases already announced and their time off in June it may be a while before Taboo hits the streets. Boo.

My favorite title from their catalog, aside from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Would definitely be right at home amongst Vinegar Syndrome's other offerings.
I think MPI will do a blu-ray release one day, they are releasing their films and licensing some out, but at a snails pace.

That would work too. Rumor has it that they acquired The Candy Snatchers, which would make sense since it's a General Film Corporation picture, and they've already released four of their titles.

                  • what did everyone think of the Howard Zeihm double feature of Harlot/Tijuana Blue? I thought it was pretty good, I liked Harlot the best out of those 2, but they were both interesting films, I find the pre Deep Throat films very interesting, I thought it was a good double feature, I wanted to also ask if VS has any plans to release Mona? I didn't know that Howard Zeihm directed that film until listening to the commentary. I had seen Mona years ago, but I guess I didn't pay attention to the credits. But Mona is a fun film, and Fifi Watson is great as the girl who is saving herself for marriage but is a total slut lol, anyway I can't wait for the July releases, I'm most interested in the Wakefield Poole set, those films sound very good, and I've liked all his films I've seen so it should be good.

I loved HARLOT. Very inventive, with some jaw-dropping moments. Really appreciated the audio commentary as well.

I was going through this thread & read the review via the link.

A good review although 1 mistake I'd correct is that it was ACTUALLY Channel 4 NOT BBC4 who made the Darker Side of Porn series.

That was a really interesting series. Long gone are the days when Channel 4 used to make programmes such as that - or the days of the 'Red Triangle' films. More's the pity :(
