can't wait for the Wakefield Poole films, and also Both Ways. I never saw Take One, but I will definitely get it, I saw Both Ways, but it was a bad quality version, so I will get the VS version definiteily as well. I hope more gay classics are on the way, I'm most excited about this 12 film boxset, I am curious as to what all the films will be on it, I like that some of them will be a surprise when I get it, kind of more exciting to not know what all the films will be

I have this DVD, and it's a great quality DVD. I don't think there could be a better quality DVD done of Insatiable, the only way a better release could be done of Insatible is for someone to do a blu ray release.
I was also thinking It would be great if VS could release Taxi Girls, I have never seen it, but I know it's considered one of the better porn films of the 1970's. but it's got some of my favorite actors and actresses of the classic era and I'd love to see it get the VS treatment :)Last edited by Fundi; 03-26-2016, 04:37 PM.

Great news from VS. The first 4 "Taboo" films are going to be available on blu ray for a future release( possibly a box set?). The negative for "Taboo 5" is currently MIA so unfortunately that film won't be in the cards.Last edited by Rakesh R.; 03-27-2016, 08:47 AM.

Well this is great news that the first 4 Taboo films are coming to blu ray. I wish Part 5 was as well, Part 6 was a different storyline so it was kind of dispensable, but at least we'll be getting parts 1 - 4. I can't wait for this release. and hopefully part 5 shows up someday. Amber Lynn was a bitch from hell in part 5 lol.

I assume they bought the rights through Steven Arthur, the son of David Arthur (Kirdy Stevens), they probably have the rights to almost all of his films. I would be more interested in the softcore films he directed and produced in the late 60's, early 70's if they still exist (only because I've seen all his hardcore films).
The Taboo series from 6 on were shot on video with the exception of 7. TABOO 7 is actually an earlier film called A WOMAN'S DREAM that was directed by Peter Perry which they slapped a fake credit to Stevens on to make it seem like a TABOO film. I'm also not sure if the estate owns any of the TABOO films after 5 since they came out on DVD from Metro (Arthur owned Standard Video (and EVEN STEVEN video) but sold his stock to Intropics when Standard folded. when Intropics folded, Metro took over their titles).Last edited by Thomas Wood; 03-27-2016, 07:49 PM.

I really liked the Taboo series through part 5 best anyhow, part 6 totally changed directions and had no connection to the earlier films as far as story. I was not aware Kirdy Stevens made many films other than the Taboo films, would be interesting to see others. I liked Playing With Fire, and would love to see it on DVD or Blu Ray as well, I think it was made on film, but it's possible it was shot on video, I sometimes can't tell if movies are shot on film or video.
Was just thinking of a film that VS should release the 80's movie Beauty with Jamie Gillis and Loni Sanders, that is really a good movie, and I have not seen it in a long time.Last edited by Fundi; 03-29-2016, 12:09 AM.

From FB:
"To round out what's been a rather busy last couple weeks, this morning I stopped by one of our licensor's offices to pick up a couple negatives. One is for an early 70s Euro horror film and the other is for a late 70s violent urban thriller. The Euro film is slated for release this fall..."
Let the speculation begin!Rock! Shock! Pop!
