Interesting to read what Steven's intentions might be and whether to bring the 3 remaining Paris films to blu. I personally hope he decides to do it, but I understand much better now the challenges he has faced. I personally would be happy with a 3 disc blu-ray collection with no extras if that is the more cost effective way of doing it.

"The last few years has been very challenging on my independent archive and releasing company. I have had to adapt to many changes and continue to deal with this everchanging marketplace. While I have continued to research, document, preserve film and grow my sexploitation film archive, I still face the challenges of a small market, very tough competition, and an unstable future for home video. Now, as I am working with a new distributor, I hope to have a more normal release schedule, where I can focus more on the archiving, preservation and production. I run Distribpix Inc. alone and my hours can be long and hard trying to juggle so much. I can only tell you that your continued support and appreciation is what helps to fuel my drive. I have some really special things on the horizon and I look forward with sharing them with all of you. Please stay tuned.

I think she's making a big mistake but we'll see if she actually returns. There's been others who have said that they're returning but never do once they see how the industry has changed over the years.

AVN are reporting that Karen Summer is getting back into the business. I don't know of her, but she apparently has a VXP DVD called Deep Inside Karen Summer.

I'm gonna have to watch some movies now. I always appreciate when a former star comes back when they are older, because there are never enough older women in adult. I'll be excited to see some new video content when it arrives.

Being as I'm a guy who also runs a one-man operation, I feel for Stephen and would ask that people are patient. The guy is incredibly dedicated to his company. I know it's been awhile, but as far as I'm concerned (and knowing the quality of the releases in the past) he can take as long as it takes.

Not just dedicated to his company but to the fans too. I have utter respect for the guy, and I don't even know him. The irony is he talks to his fans like we are all friends, and that's a rarity in this day and age.

I couldn't agree more. I didn't mean any disrespect toward Steven or his company. I'm simply anxious for his next release.

I have bought all of their releases in the Platinum Elite Collection as well as all of the Radley Metzger releases (gave $100 to Project Misty). His dedication (obsession?) to these releases is obvious in the top notch product he puts out and I would never suggest he rush anything about it... like I said I'm just anxious for more!

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully "very soon" comes very soon :)

So far their releases have been beautifully restored and fully uncut. I know Angela has quiet a few "controversial" scenes so I can only hope it will be unedited as well.

We have been reading for months about how Distribpix have been working on restoring many, many films but where are the releases? I know these things take time but it seems like such a long time since Barbara Broadcast (wasn't that their last great release?). I have been jonesing for Through the Looking Glass and Angela the Fireworks Woman ever since I read that they had them restored last year.

When can we expect to see more releases?

I did ask Steve on facebook about Through the looking glass, as I agree that is the most anticipated. He didn't say any dates but he did say that a lot is coming very soon. What very soon means is anyones guess. But He seems to have a lot to take on. Barbara Broadcast took what seemed like forever from announcing to actual release, and if you remember the HD restoration on Maraschino cherry was also talked about what seems like a year ago.

Those Lustig movies finally coming out is big news! And the commentaries sound great! Really looking forward to that release.
