I don't frequent this thread -- it's more of a check in occasionally, and see what crazy shit Bill said/did lately, and ... I just cannot fathom how this man A) is able to successfully negotiate licensing, B) pay off creditors without continuous collection activity, or C) dress himself without cutting his throat while shaving or feed himself without accidentally eating the shit from the toilet...
I mean ... Fuck me running. It's astounding to me that this guy runs a business capable of staying solvent.
All that being said, it's got to be an act. Right? RIGHT?!?!

For years he refused proper distribution and complained about selling 300 copies, but now Kino are putting out fucktonnes of his stuff. It must be a good arrangement for both of them as there's no sign of it slowing up. All those years he could have been doing this but I guess he's convinced that he's right because he once ran a video rental store and that qualifies him. The man has an incredible knowledge of these films and impressive contacts amongst the Z grade film makers, but he just makes it impossible to take him seriously. Sad to say.I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.
