A few thoughts on "Portraits of Andrea Palmer". I do think it is a solid and visceral movie. The adult content is well integrated in the story and the central character, while flawed, is sympathetic. Great decision shooting on 16mm film too. There are some really effective artistic shots throughout the feature. Does it have the pure shock value of something like "Forced Entry", "The Story of Prunella" or "The Taming of Rebecca" or other 70s/80s xxx roughies...for me, not really. That might be a product of me seeing so many graphic and explicit images through the years though. Anyway, solid effort all around and definitely recommended, although you might need a long cold shower after seeing it .

Pallbearer Press is a loooong time friend of mine. He has his own shop & seems to hit every horror con around the country as he's gone pretty much every weekend.

The German blu ray mediabook with the red artwork looks really beautiful. I might have to pick it up. Plus, it has "Flesh Meat Doll(s)", which the US blu ray does not have.

I wonder why the US release doesn't have that short film? I agree that the German art is really nice.

I just finished the film. It's okay; I thought the House of Milan-type scene could have been better. The bearded guy seemed bored. I did like how it ended.
