Y'know, I thought that was going to be it once Lustig re-released all the titles he sub-licenced to Anchor Bay, and pretty much said nothing new was in the offing for the immediate future. Then they up and switched their focus to Blu-ray and now look at the company! It's like the Criterion of Cult cinema...only better, as the majority of their Blu-rays are region free for us dweebs in non-Region A land.
Everything I've bought so far has been outstanding -- New York Ripper, City of the Living Dead, The Bird with the Crystal Plummage (Storaro's useless Univisum ratio? I think not!) and Vampyres. All exemplary purchases for the cult fan.
We've got what appears to be the definitive Deep Red release coming -- the best Inferno transfer available -- what promises to be the definitive Torso edition -- and of course the muched hyped super edition of Zombie later in the year.
Can Lusting and crew do no wrong? Btw, for anyone who has the Salon Kitty BD, let me know how it is as it's one I'm thinking to adding in with my next US order in future; which will undoubtedly be made up entirely of Blue Underground BDs. ;)
