Yep, been reading those reports, very disappointing if true. Mine is in transit, I'm hoping it will show up today.

I don't know why I keep giving them money. And mine hasn't even god damned shipped yet.

My copy's somewhere over the Atlantic; suddenly, I'm not so excited.

Are there any sources for the poor reports?

There are also multiple reports of missing discs, cd included but no BD. Or cd and DVD but no BD (and it's not supposed to have a DVD btw). I'm going to be nervous opening mine...

              Thanks, Raf!

Andrew, yeah, that sounds a bit hit or miss... expectations adjusted accordingly.

Judging by caps on blu-ray.com it looks really bad. I'd say it looks like Shameless is actually the better release so I'm keeping that one. Glad I didn't double dip after all. Pricing is outrageous on these releases anyway so overpaying for shit quality... that's a no.

I'm just hoping they won't fuck up the Lenzi/Baker-stuff.

So which is the best PQ wise, Filmart (German), Shameless (UK) or this Severin one?

                      Is Filmart English friendly though?

Mine arrived late yesterday intact. I hope to give it a look tonight.

I may have missed it but has Martino's Silent Action (with Tomas Milian) from 1975 ever been released on R1 DVD?

No, I don't think so. It's a shame as it's a terrific conspiracy/crime film. Great score as well.

Someone at the Blu-ray forums has posted comparison caps between the Severin and FilmArt releases of MRS. WARDH. In addition to looking far less bright and crisp, the Severin is cropped at the top.

I've never seen it but based on your take on it I will have to seek it out. I like about half of the Martino films I've seen and Milian is always great to watch.
