  • Shameless Releasing A Formula For Murder

    Kapow!

    Coming 1/27/14.

"Martin Herbert directs this crime horror starring David Warbeck and Christina Nagy. In Boston in 1960 a faceless lunatic disguised as a priest presents a little girl with a doll. 20 years on and the little girl, Joanna (Nagy), is now a disabled but wealthy heiress married to her sports coach Craig (Warbeck). Although Joanna had blocked out the incident with the predator and the doll, when two priests at a local church are brutally murdered she begins to have hallucinations of mysterious characters and bloodied dolls. Somebody is determined to part Joanna from her money, but who?"

So what's the word on this one? Brilliant? Good? Average? Bottom of the barrel?

I really wanted to like this one but it's very slow, the murder's aren't anything of note, and the twist is pretty obvious. I believe it's the only film where David Warbeck plays a bad guy though.

Seeing as Shameless has obvious affection for the late great David Warbeck, I really hope they can release Hunters of the Golden Cobra and Tiger Joe at some point. Or even a special edition of sorts of Ark of the Sun God.

Finally, a Shameless release that isn't a redundant double dip!

I echo Alex's desire for some Shameless releases of Warbeck's action pictures!

Dom D already did a thread for this early last month. But yes, good news, it's a fairly good one imo.
