I have the Italian novelization (or whatever you call 90 odd pages) where she's called Susy Banner. Subs possibly came from Italy?

A few key points:

-the steelbook has been removed from the Synapse site as it's close to selling out and they don't want to oversell

-CAV is handling fulfillment, packages are being assembled and should start shipping next week, they will ship in the order that they were receieved

I kept thinking about pre-ordering last week but decided I didn't need to spend more money until after Xmas. Guess I need to make a phone call to see if a copy is still available though I really only need the movie. The soundtrack & booklet would only be read n' listened to once. Decisions, decisions.

I ordered on Wed. so, hopefully, it's in the mail. Whomever took the order said it would ship "tomorrow". I just could not wait for the bare bones release. I'm guessing it's going to sound and look amazing. I just got a soundbar so I'm going to enjoy turning up the volume on Goblin!

Looks like this release is getting a regular distribution through CAV so is available through all the usual resellers. So Synapse is claiming its selling out, they just mean they've offloaded most of their stock to the distributor.

I broke down and ordered a copy since i wanted the best version of this film. The most expensive film ive ever bought.

My copy has been handed off from US Mail to Canada Customs to sit in Mississauga for god knows how long, to then disappear into the black hole of Canada Post that makes anything mailed from ANYWHERE else (even crosstown!!!) take two weeks to get delivered to Calgary. Hoping against hope that I get it by Christmas, but not counting on it after having a half-dozen things take 4 weeks to clear Richmond BC customs last month.
