I am far less optimistic, this is clearly a repackaging of 10 year old discs. If it weren't, no way this would be a 4 disc set. Coffin Box is still widely available, nowhere near a sell out.
If they have so many old DVD's to unload they devised & greenlit a new way to sell old product, I'd guess there is zero chance of them going to BD. More likely their rights are about to vaporize.

That looks nice, but I think I'll wait for a cheaper release. Last time I watched this it seemed really quaint until the sexual assault. Personally I love the third and second ones. After years of trying I only recently made it through the fourth in one go.I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I've got the coffin box set of the four films and I met Lone Fleming, the female star of part 1, in 2015 when the Faces in the Dark exploitation film festival screened a 16mm print of the film in Copenhagen. She was totally lovely and spoke at great length about her life in Spain (she's originally from Denmark) and the Spanish film industry. Yours truly in the "Queen of Black Magic" tee.
