  • Lenzi's NIGHTMARE CITY due from ARROW & RARO in 2014

According to Arrow's facebook page Lenzi's (is it or is it not a zombie film) Nightmare city will be released sometime in 2014.

"It is time to wish a very Happy Birthday to Umberto Lenzi! To celebrate, we are pleased to announce that we will be releasing NIGHTMARE CITY in 2014!"

Oh boy. I'd read somewhere that Raro were looking at this title too.

Raro do have it in the works for a US Blu-ray release. No release date yet that I've seen.

Do what I do - buy 'em both.

        Stiglitz deserves no less.

I'll never forget Bill Lustig's reply when I asked him about the chances of Blue Underground putting this out on Blu ray at a MANIAC screening.

He laughed in my face and said "I gotta be realistic!"

Ha. Wonder how he's feeling now? 😄

Blue underground need to step up their pace. They are being surpassed now by the Shout Factories, Severins and Arrows of this world.

Yes they used to be amazing. and they were region free, but they seemed to reach a crescendo with ZOMBIE on BD and then went into free fall.

Raro just posted a trailer and announced Nightmare City for Halloween 2013. That seriously works for me!

Agreed on the BU front. They're a fantastic company that I hope will pick it up with their upcoming Snuff and Maniac Cop 3 releases. Hopefully Grand Duel gets some Blu love as well. As for Raro, this is easily one of my most anticipated releases from them.
