Alpha just put this out, with an Independent International logo on the back. I guess good old Sam Sherman distributed this one back in the 1970s.
Franco Nero, Fernando Rey, Martin Balsam in a film involving corrupt politicians and apparantly lots of rape? Sounds like fun. Directed by Marcello Aliprandi, who I know nothing about. Not much on the imdb regarding this one at all, really, one user comment that describes it as sturdy.
Alpha's disc actually contains the theatrical trailer for the film, which was a nice surprise. The transfer is interlaced and fullframe but it's fairly clean and certainly watchable enough for the $5.99 I paid for it even if it's murky in spots and looks like it was taken from a tape source and shows some odd compression issues.
It's got a weird homo-erotic shirtless knife guy vs. high kicking dude scene
