For months I had the page for watching the movie sitting there on my tabs just waiting to be viewed. I kept saying to myself "One day I'll take some time to watch it." This shows just how badly I procrastinate.
I finally watched it. It was great. The first two segments by Buttgereit and Kosakowski were absolutely fantastic and are worth checking this out for. Unfortunately the third segment was just okay. The third segment was overlong and could and should have been a lot shorter. But the third segment has some great effects work and gore at the end so it wasn't a total loss.

Buttgereit has the shortest segment and it's the one that opens the film. It's pretty gory, off screen castration, and is about a girl exacting sexual revenge."Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

The transfer on their DVD of HORROR STORIES is atrocious. It looks like a DVD-R of a PAL disc transferred to NTSC at the wrong speed. Truly one of the worst I've seen.Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?Comment
