  • New Burial Ground Blu-ray Coming...

    Diabolik DVD just posted this:

"Limited edition DVD/Blu-Ray Mediabook of Burial Ground coming in March!"

They also claim this is the actual cover art:

What they don't say is if it's English friendly, who is putting it out or if it'll use the same transfer as the Media Blasters disc or not (Hopefully not!).

That's the old VHS art. Thanks for the alert, Ian. I need to hear some quality reports on this before I think of getting it, no doubt it will be expensive and if it's from the same source as the MB blu I think I'll pass.

So it seems that this is just a more expensive version of the lousy Media Blasters disc in a nicer package.

Disappointing. Glad I didn't bite on this.

Seconded! What a missed opportunity! Would love to see someone issue this with the Italian track and English subtitles.

Thirded, I had a feeling this would be a letdown.

Looks like Severin MIGHT have a Burial Ground release in the works.

I think he has a background as a dancer. Certainly, he dances in some of the other films he appeared in during that period (eg, LIQUIRIZIA).

Some fairly recent interviews with Peter Bark, or Piero Barcello, or Pietro Bargella, or whatever the hell his real name is:

Severin posted this on FB yesterday... can we assume they've got a release in the works?

Is this still being released by 88 Films? What's up with that one?

There was something else previously posted by Severin that hinted at Burial Ground so I certainly hope they have it in the works.

I think I read on the bluray.com forum that the 88 Film release is for March, maybe? Seems like there is a thread for the film with a link.
