I've kept this under my hat for months now, but the next issue of Video Watchdog has a massive Poliziotteschi article from yours truly. Quite frankly, it's the best thing I've ever written; I'm really proud of it, and I'm hoping all of you will check it out when the issue (#177) hits stands!

Damn, WE STILL KILL THE OLD WAY, BANDITS IN MILAN, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOUR DAUGHTERS?...and that Aldo Lado film, BORN WINNERS, never heard of that one before. That's not even mentioning the more well known classics they also are running.

Born Winners is a fun little film with Joe Dallesandro, Sadly the only release I think thats out there is a greek VHS rip which I own. I really hope to see it on dvd one day.

DAY OF THE COBRA on Blu! I like that film. This may be worth tracking down. Thanks for the heads up!

Didn't notice this mentioned anywhere here but I might just be blind. Anyways, FilmArt just released a Blu-Ray of the Day of the Cobra with English audio. It is limited to 1000 copies and DTM.at and Amazon.de are already out of stock (but I would think they will get more discs).

Screenshots (well they are in HD resolution but I don't know if the disc will look exactly like these or not...) look nice (I hope the links work, and there are a few more at their facebook page posted in last December):

Not as far as I know. Sometimes I wish there was an easier way of getting a 'heads up' about some of these releases from companies that don't 'push' in the same way others do.

On a related note, I've finally ordered the US Raro BD Di Leo boxed sets, as an upgrade from the Italian DVDs: they're both on offer at importcds for only $21 each!

Oh, I just do a semi-regular browse around on German Amazon for releases of this kind, in case any have slipped under the radar.

I've ordered it too, though I've never seen the film.

Agreed. Blood and Diamonds would have definitely made a good fourth film. Quite fond of that one, myself. The only film I haven't seen from the second set is Kidnap Syndicate; looking forward to checking it out!
