This is a fun movie, I found the Grove Press edition of the French book it is based on, looks spicier than the film.

I happened upon this as a young and very impressionable fellow on late night tv. Maybe 12 years old. That opening scene burned itself into my brain. The rest of the film was a disappointment. Really should go back and give it another look.
