Wasn't Germany one of the countries that gave companies releasing horror movies legal grief? Is that a thing of the past now?

They often were in the past.

Germany is also doing a BEAUTIFUL GIRL HUNTER BluRay (see Asian section), and that film is very strong.

Germany are still very hard on censoring and banning films. That's why almost all of these labels are based in Austria.

I'm counting out Code Red if there are other alternatives. So tired of the hoop jumping involved in getting one of their releases. Of course, if the Austrian disc isn't English friendly, there aren't many options, but I'm not looking forward to trying to secure a copy through Diabolik. And I don't really want to support a label that hates their consumers.

nope, code red will be in Italian with English subtitles as they weren't able to locate a English track. Was there ever one in existence? Also i wasnt too happy with their HD scan, as it was so Greenish, but reading this forum, it seems that was the intention of Aldo Lado?

There's never been an English track for Giallo in Venice. Same applies to every film by the same producer. Burial Ground is the sole exception.
