  • Some odd titles coming from MYA

Amazon has these up with a release date of 2/14 - I know nothing about them (aside from the fact that Alfredo Alfredo is a Dustin Hoffman movie) and figure they're possibly more strange retitlings as Mya have been known to do in the past?

    Nifty covers at least:

Both titles check out on imdb. Ransom Baby looks massively obscure- the one review just takes you to a spam site- while there are a few reviews for Alfredo Alfredo floating about. Sounds reasonably missable.

Watched Ransom Baby last night. Mediocre Eurocrime with some impressive nudity and a remarkably awful opening theme song. It ends on a decent note, some good violence and tension in the finish but getting there can be a little dry. I'm glad I have it, glad I saw it, but it's not one I'm going to go back to time and time again. Great cover art though.

I'm mildly curious about RANSOM BABY, it's a Greek crimer. If I see it cheap I'll probably get it.
I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.

Facts of Murder is coming 7/31.

"Things aren't always as easy as they look. Ask Inspector Ingravallo (Pietro Germi) about it. A thief sneaks into the apartment of roman aristocrat and steals a fortune in jewelry. But as soon as Ingravallo starts to question the neighbours he immediately has the feeling that something very fishy is indeed going on. So, what looked like an ordinary theft becomes an incredibly tangled mystery that will lead to a very unexpected outcome."

            IMDB link.

They've been delving into comedy a fair bit lately.
