Would anybody be interested in trading DVD+Rs of unreleased spaghetti westerns? I'm always looking for more and have plenty to trade.

Picked up Kino's A MINUTE TO PRAY, A SECOND TO DIE a couple weeks back. Fantastic film, and a really great commentary track by Alex Cox. The film itself reminds me heavily of A MAN CALLED NOON. Both have American leads with a debilitating condition. Both feature an older American actor as the villain. Neat score too by Carlo Rustichelli. I wasn't familiar with the lead, Alex Cord, seems like he mostly did television. I thought he did a great job in this."When I die, I hope to go to Accra"

So it looks like there's a Scandinavian release that uses Arrow's remaster of Django available on BD and UHD, though the UHD uses a burned 50GB Blu-ray disc as its platform.
Some caps and a detailed explanation of the tech behind it in this thread here.

Looks like a barebones release with only the English dub in DD 2.0, no lossless.Rock! Shock! Pop!

Just ordered the BD of this. Soul Media is a garbage company but it seems like it's actually a decent disc (1080i though, whatever that means). I'd prefer Arrow but god knows how that'll resolve itself or if it ever will. So this will do in the mean time. English dub doesn't bother me. I can't watch westerns in Italian. It does not compute. Giallo's and mob/police flicks, sure but westerns... naw!
EDIT!:
Watched the disc earlier today. Looks pretty dang good. Not perfect but certainly the best so far. This will indeed do just fine until/if the rights debacle ever will be resolved.Last edited by Nabonga; 02-19-2019, 07:44 PM.
