This is a pretty decent noir-ish crime film, sort of similar to the French gangster films of the time. I've had a copy from European Trash Cinema for ages. Cool Robby Poitevin score as well. I would probably pick this up.

Yes, I remember liking this one too, Andrew. I think I have the old Japanese DVD release (from King Records), which I'm pretty sure is non-anamorphic. Definitely worth an upgrade, imo.

Stylishly directed by Franco Prosperi too (the LAST HOUSE ON THE BEACH/MEET HIM AND DIE Franco Prosperi, rather than Franco 'mondo' Prosperi).

Clint Harris is one of the best hired Killers of the Organisation but he ´s done with it and wants to leave the business. The Organisation gets him for a last job to get rid of a traitor and this time even with a partner. The target is hard to locate because that person has done a face-change operation. The two Killers are on the hunt but after some time it is unclear who to trust and how to finish the mission……

The film's seriousness, together with the cool visuals and slow pace, positions “Tecnica di un Omicidio” more in the direction of Jean-Pierre Melville's “Le Samourai” (1967) then the usual direction of Eurocrime movies.
