  • Amazon UK has a Studio Canal Blu for ONE MILLION YEARS BC listed for June 13th.
Still have not heard anything but rumor about THE NANNY, if it's an upscale or not....hopefully word will trickle out soon.

      • Has anyone ordered The Nanny on Blu-ray yet? I like this one but before ordering from Australia I'd like to know that the disc is worth it.

        • I have not been able to find any info on this one yet.
Last Aussie disc I bought was BASKERVILLES and regretted it soon after as alternate superior releases were announced ( those Aussie BD's have a habit of being 1080i ).

          • There are rumblings that its not worth it, sort of a raw scan, maybe an upscale. But I havent seen any screencaps or reviews.

            • "A collection of six films from Hammer Film Productions that includes:
THE VAMPIRE LOVERS, THE BRIDES OF DRACULA, THE CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF, THE NANNY, HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES and CAPTAIN KRONOS VAMPIRE HUNTER"

Not a bad deal at $14 Australian dollars.

It looks like some people here have ordered it and received shipping notifications.

And they do provide international shipping:

              US & Canada $11.68 + $3.86 per item

                • Mill Creek got quite a few responses in that thread, so I'm hopeful we will get some of the Sony Hammer titles on BD soon. Mill Creek certainly has access to some of the greats (TWO FACES OF DR. JEKYLL, THE GORGON, SCREAM OF FEAR, DIE! DIE! MY DARLING!, THE REVENGE OF FRANKENSTEIN, and so on...)

                  • Oh, man, I hope we will see The Gorgon and especially The Revenge of Frankenstein. I have no clue about what they else may have access to.

                      • Kino just announced One Million Years B.C. for domestic release.

No other details yet though in a FB comment they noted that they are trying to get the uncut version.

                          • Also Firefox tried to auto correct Baskervilles and turn it into Basketballs. I think The Hound Of The Basketballs would be a damn fine film.
