  • Might have to pick that 1952 Fisher / Dors title up. The DVD cover borrows a picture of her from a few years earlier ( 1948 ).

      • VCI released MAN BAIT and TERROR STREET once before in the HAMMER FILM NOIR - DOUBLE FEATURE collections in 2006. MAIN BAIT was paired with BAD BLONDE (1953) starring Barbara Payton on volume 1 and TERROR STREET was paired with WINGS OF DANGER (1953) directed by Terence Fisher on Volume 4. The new cover art doesn't mention they're Hammer Films.

        • Apparently German company Anolis are releasing Curse of the Werewolf and The Mummy's Shroud, which follows the March release of Twins of Evil. I can only presume this will involve the usual mediabook bluray/dvd combo's and standard edition blu-ray.

          • I could probably be talked into buying Curse Of The Werewolf on Blu-ray pretty easily...

            • Don't forget Final cut in Uk have COTW scheduled at some point. They have to make a decision about which hd version they put out. The older master with the more unanimously accepted ratio or the new master that Universal offered which controversially is not.

I do hope we get the proper A/R, but either way, one of my favourite Hammers. Ollie Reed's w/wolf gets my vote for all-time-best. Can't wait to see him in HD.

I like this Hammer film very much. Personally, I think the transfer is two clicks too bright.

                        • It seems the date comes from a listing on amazon UK that isn't ready for order yet (and is listed as dvd). I'd be ok with that set, btw!
