GHOST STORY - saw this on tv and its a slow burner - boring

I first encountered it on television too, back in what I would say was the late 1980s. I really liked it; it stuck in my memory for years though I didn't get a chance to revisit it until its DVD release from Nucleus about 10 years ago. It's slowly paced but if you're on its wavelength, it has its own peculiar spell to weave. That said, I can see why some people might find it too languid.
