I'm really tempted by DESPAIR but it seems quite expensive for a 'blind buy'. I like most of Fassbinder's films, and for me, WORLD ON A WIRE was one of the big discoveries of last year: that's an amazing piece of work.
Has anyone seen DESPAIR yet? Is it worth its price?

Is Despair the film where Bogarde goes a bit loopy with everyone around him and, finding some bloke who looks nothing like him, becomes convinced the guy is his doppleganger? If so, I may have to look into this one myself as that's one film that has burrowed its way into my subconscious ever since I saw it twenty odd years ago.
