  • Scream Factory Releasing The Vampire And The Ballerina

No word on extras (don't expect much) but this is coming in May...

"THE VAMPIRE AND THE BALLERINA (Street Date: 5/22): Shot in and around the grounds of an ancient Italian castle, this creepy and atmospheric thriller follows a company of beautiful ballerinas on tour, when they become stranded within its sinister, stony old walls. They have no idea that a horror legend two thousand years old is about to come alive in the form of a group of vampires, all thirsting for blood ... especially their nefarious and brutal queen. "Coupled with the smooth direction of Renato Polselli is some really fantastic cinematography that uses lighting and shadow effectively to make this film really come alive" (The Telltale Mind) ... and keep you firmly transfixed at the edge of your seat!"

Good news. Il mostro dell'opera wouldn't go amiss either.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

Confirmed dual audio, Italian & English with English subs. And we got a 8mm digest version in there too.
Element had started going vinegar so Scream went after this title in the nick of time.

Great news, where was this confirmed John, been looking through the Facebook thread without success. The French dvd from a few years back looked fine, i wonder if it's just the elements for the US dub that are suffering from VS rather than the Italian version?

I helped out on the release, and got them the English audio and the digest through a friend.
It was recently confirmed here ( check the comments ) these made the cut.

MGM has a Italian titled source, I am not sure if it's an interneg or what it is exactly, but it had started to turn.
There may be a lower generation element overseas.

Cool. It's a great one, as are all Polselli's films. Hopefully canI can get this sooner, rather than later. And also thanks John.
