NICE covers! Aren't CMV another one of these shady gray market outfits, that released VHS sourced films as well as rips from foreign official DVD releases?

Damn I might buy these if they are decent transfers, I love those covers, I own that Dracula poster with that artwork.

Haha, sorry CMV! I think a lot of the German/Austrian labels, back in the DVD days at least, felt sort of shady. All those book box releases with bad analogue masters, you know. But maybe it's just a case of licensing but not wanting to pay for new transfers of the films, which I can certainly understand from a business viewpoint, as they often released really obscure films. Anyway, the covers for these sure look nice, hope the content looks as good too.

Hopefully we'll get the definitive release of Frankenstein. The Australian Blu Ray is so soft it may not be native HD, and the Japanese one is optically censored.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I'm tempted with these but naturally wary as allegedly the Australian Blu-ray release of Flesh for Frankenstein looked like shite, and these cost a lot more.

i dont mind CMV. I have a lot of their DVD releases which are usually from rough sources such as VHS tape. But i will definately wait for reviews on these. Hopefully they will be the same as the Japanese releases minus the censorship as i think the consensus on these when they came out was they looked ok, true HD and all that.

Out of all the covers posted I still think the first ones posted are the best.

I like that last Dracula the best (hear that, CMV? ;) ). We have the original poster for that image.
