  • Cannibal Apocalypse

    From FB:

"This is our cover of impulses cannibals of Antonio Margheriti. Pure Bis Italian like we actually more. A classic that is presented for the first time in France in DVD, unedited and in an edition supplemented by very, very good bonus. This title is planned for December! The perfect gift under your Christmas Tree."

I love this film. The John Saxon interview on the Image disc is terrific. He holds his nose and acts as if CANNIBAL APOCALYPSE is the only trash film he's ever made. Its so strange that the guy who directed ZOMBIE DEATH HOUSE has such disdain for the cannibal genre.

Pretty sure it's just DVD, not Blu.

I remember it was hilarious, and how horrified he was to finally see the finished product.

He's definitely been in a lot worse. Such as Hellmaster.

I think C.A. was one of the very first movies I bought via mailorder. It was awful quality. Pretty sure I got it from Craig Ledbetter for postage plus two blank tapes (one to copy, one as payment). I remember the film being pretty tame or it could be that I wanted something super gory based on title. I haven't seen it since so would like to finally see it again in much better quality.

That last image from the Japanese program is cool as hell!
