Yeah, I don't think Rutger is saving this one.

Well, since all previous filmed versions haven't included the giant praying mantis monster thing, it's nice to finally see Stoker's original vision.

Seriously, it's like his channeling Uwe Boll here or something.

Ha! Great comparison. Yes, it's absurd how crap Argento is now. Shows how much a good DP brings to the proceedings. Sorry, Troy.

They're still tinkering with the effects, so there's a good chance you'll be eating your words come Jan 12th.

              Hey, where's your avatar?

So much depends on Argento getting a good DP.

My........ name......is......... Abraham...Von Helsing....... Seriously. Is Rutger senile now and reading from a prompter, or is that some kind of "acting" ?

Argento lost all his talent when he died years ago. Zombie Argento sucks as a director.

Well, he finally got one again... but this still looks cheap.

Nothing tops a good DP...'cept maybe going airtight.

Though, this reminded me to order Giallo finally. It can't be as bad as Mother of Tears...or can it? I'm excited.

It's as bad but in a very different way.

This looks like it might be in the so bad it's good category. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah I'm definitely going to check it out too, but my expectations of anyting even remotely resembling a Dracula movie to take seriously have been completely dashed. It could be fun in a bad way. I wonder how 3D it's going to be and if it'll get much in the way of theatrical play?
