Finding SKIE to be a hair less dazzling in the A/V depts. than VL. For the most part it looks about as good, but the source element is in rougher shape.
Same goes for the audio, which has it's share of rumbles & damage, and an odd bit around the 51 minute mark where the volume increases for a minute or two.
The extras are excellent again, Thrower's insights are worthwhile, and Jess's interview equally captivating & informative.
I read Severin are looking into COUNT DRACULA and wonder if by chance they got JF reminiscing about that project somewhere in one of their cans.
All in all, great releases :up:Comment

Yeah nobody expected this one. There was some talk that the licensor wouldn't allow subs, due to anticipated international release. However no-one has given any indication as to whether it will get picked up. Aparently the print isn't in that good a shape, but just that its been released is a minor miracle. I imagine its a dialogue heavy film so have been in two minds whether to get this Spanish release or not.Originally posted by stinty View PostComment

They have Countess Perverse in the works for blu-ray, potentially including alternate versions etc. I'm also lead to believe that Pete is working on securing more. That's all I know.
