  • Recent Japanese Films Shot In 35mm

I know that "Unforgiven", "Shield of Straw" and "The Tale of Iya"( all terrific films IMHO) have been shot in 35mm. Any other recent films from Japan that were shot in 35mm?

My Man is a mixture of three formats: the childhood scenes were shot in 16mm, the teenage years (the main chunk of the film) in 35mm, and the adulthood (the Tokyo parts) in digital.

The Tale of Iya is really, really good!

Thanks for the information Takuma! 35mm movies are making something of a comeback here in the United States. I hope we see more titles shot on 35mm in Japan in the future.
