Hell yeah! Especially looking forward to the Suzuki directed first installment with Ike and Sugimoto. Same trio for the second, which already got a release on DVD from Panik House and is just positively epic pinky violence. The upgrade to blu-ray will be nice. Curious about the third (Delinquent Convulsion Group). Good title though.

I liked the third one a lot. Better than the fourth and arguably as good as the first.

Although I'm super-happy to see these films arriving on English-friendly blu-ray, I do wish they'd ended up with a label who could put together some decent extras and nice packaging for them, and who didn't require me to obsessively check and re-check third party websites and pay 20% import tax plus international postage in order to snag copies before they inexplicably disappear... but, c'est la vie.

Strange, because Discotek used to put some effort into creating extras for films like Bohachi Bushido: Code of the Forgotten Eight and Beautiful Girl Hunter back in the day. Now they've gone bare-bones as if they're trying to imitate Japanese releases of catalogue titles.
