So there's a Ltd. Ed. (1000 pcs) set out from Novamedia in Korea now. Some where hoping it would outdo the Shout! set but some posters on Blu-ray.com got it and....
Nope.

"They are upscales with colour correction, identical to the ones Shout Factory gave us before they recalled the set!. No English as stated on the packaging, English subtitles though!."
The packaging sure looks nice though.Rock! Shock! Pop!

Thankfully they appear to be ports of the corrected discs and not the upscales.
I guess that's news.Rock! Shock! Pop!

Looks like the HK releases have been collected into a boxed set.
Amazon has a pre-order page for it.

$139.99??? What a fucking rip off! dddhouse has it for $67 and even with the most expensive EMS speed post shipping option, it'll still be $40 cheaper than Amazon. I didn't check buyoyo but it's got to be way cheaper as well. Plus, it's woefully lacking compared to the Shout Select 4K remastered releases in terms extras and the death knell for this FS release is the lack of the original mono audio. Just wait for Shout to eventually release THE WAY OF THE DRAGON and GAME OF DEATH and you can have all 4 movies for a third of the price of this boxset with the same PQ but superior audio and more extras.
