    Some more info...

Dragon (Jackie Chan) and Bull (Mars) are childhood friends who spend most of their free time chasing after local girls in general and spying on one in particular who catches their eyes.

A gang in the nearby dwelling is smuggling precious Chinese artifacts to westerners. Hoi (Chan Wai-man) is a reluctant party to the scheme and when he voiced his objection, the Big Boss sent his henchmen after him to keep him quiet. When the mischievous duo came across Hoi, who was hiding in their village, they take on the gang to protect the artifacts.

In this directorial debut, Jackie plays Lung, a talented fighter but prefers to spend his time loafing around and picking fights, despite orders from his grandfather (James Tien) not to fight. Unknown to him, a brutal general (Yam Sai Kun) has been slaughtering all the people from his grandfather's clan. When the general recognizes Lung's style of kung fu during one of his street fights, he hunts down Lung's grandfather and kills him.

A grieving Lung plans his vengeance and is aided by crippled kung fu master who imparts to him a new kind of “emotional kung fu”. Mentally and physically ready, Lung finally seeks out the wicked general to see justice done.

Watched My Lucky Stars on the Criterion Channel last night. Fun movie. Good picture quality. You'd think CC, being who they are, would have gone over the subtitles at least, but no, they're not very good. Still, a fun watch and good escapism right now.

Ha, that cover is such a damn eyesore that I've never really looked at it. Now that I looked at it, it is like they poorly photoshopped Jackie's head on Stallone's torso.

You obviously missed the point. You should be mirin Jackie's guns.

Yeah, Miramax. Don't know how you could forget it, it isn't like Jackie did a photo shoot in a black t-shirt and Miramax/Dimension/Dragon Dynasty used that shoot for every cover for every Jackie Chan movie they released.

Lot of reasons to hate those two bastards, but screwing up the market for HK titles in the US is really high up there...just below the rapes, but it is on the list.

Oof, that's the Miramax DVD? I'd forgotten about that.

This one sucks too. I own, but it still sucks.
