Veronica Yip turns in a stellar performance in the nail-biting thriller 3 Days Of A Blind Girl! Mrs. Ng (Veronica Yip) is a happily married woman rendered blind for three days... which is plenty of time for oily neighbor Sam Chu (Anthony Wong) to show up and terrorize her! At first Sam pretends to be a helpful neighbor, but soon the sleazy creep is peeping at her in the shower and wandering around her house right in front of her unseeing eyes! Sam holds Mrs. Ng hostage and threatens her with violence, but Mrs. Ng uses whatever means she can to gain the upper hand on her tormentor - and Sam Chu had better watch out!

Co-starring Alfred Cheung and Anthony Chan, 3 Days Of A Blind Girl finds genuine tension and suspense in its claustrophobic settings, Anthony Wong's deliriously sleazy performance, and Veronica Yip's vulnerable but extraordinarily strong presence as the cornered Mrs. Ng. Possibly inspired by the 1967 film Wait Until Dark starring Audrey Hepburn, 3 Days Of A Blind Girl is an effective Hong Kong thriller that proves both engrossing and deliciously entertaining!

First Press comes with a postcard, only available while supplies last.

This is a good one. A must for Anthony Wong fans.

DDDhouse has a listing for this but it's DVD only. Odd.

They have the BD as well, but you have to use the search function to find it:

Reportedly it's the edited HK cut, unfortunately.

              Damn!

When did it become ok to tamper with perfection?

The new artwork is certainly different. I have only seen the City Laser DVD. For all I know that version may be cut as well. The one thing that stuck with me was that the psycho was a woman, which in my experience made the movie more true to life.

The DVD also contains the HK cut. The only confirmed uncut prints are the Taiwanese tape (unfortunately dubbed into Mandarin) and the Japanese DVD (unfortunately optically censored). I had someone send me a cell phone video of the full-strength sequence and it's pretty insane -- more goose-fucking and face pissing. I still ordered the Blu for the bump in quality (plus it's the same edit as my DVD), but hopefully someone somewhere else will be able to make a complete release.

Wow! I thought that the DVD version was pretty strong meat.

The blu-ray of Horrible High Heels is beautifully remastered. The subtitles are still an issue though.
