I think the previous Criterion releases of Chungking Express and In the Mood for Love were/are already 1.66. So the real bad one is Fallen Angels and, to a lesser extent Happy Together. So, if you have those, you might want to hang on to them.

A poster on the Blu-ray.com forum messaged Criterion about the region code and were told that it will be A, but that they are releasing a region B set in the UK in April.

Unfortunately WKW went a little George Lucas on a couple of the films (mainly Fallen Angels)
